I have always been interested in the stock market. I find it to be a fascinating experiment where fear and greed battle every second testing the mettle of everyone involved. The problem is, most of us prefer to work and build things, like myself, and cannot devote the time staying glued infront of a trading desk trying to find a trade and stay on top of the market.
So, I have decided to follow my passion and build an app called MOMO Stock Discovery. It’s sole purpose is to provide real-time live stock data that only shows those stocks making new intra-day highs and lows. MOMO (trader slang for Momentum) is based on its name – to show stocks with momentum and ignore those without it. MOMO’s design provides a great way to track stocks in real time as well as a way to learn about unfamiliar names through StockTwits integration.
We have been building this for several months and are excited to finally have it available in beta form. Building MOMO has been a great project – incorporating many UX and architectural challenges and are anxious for the App Store release (iOS only initially).
